Strata management market leader BCS is pleased to announce the commencement of the in-house BCS After Hours Emergency service on 1st July 2010. Augmenting BCS’ client services and allowing improved tracking of works with potential cost savings to owners corporations, the BCS After Hours Emergency service replaces all previously used after hours emergency maintenance call centres.
The service is available for all after hours emergency maintenance affecting BCS client properties in New South Wales and Victoria. The hours of operation are 5pm – 8.30am Monday to Friday, and all day weekends and public holidays. BCS clients are able to call this service at no charge, as part of BCS’ comprehensive strata management services. Any contractor invoices are billed directly to the relevant owners corporation.
Experienced BCS After Hours Emergency staff will endeavour to ascertain over the phone whether the issue is a common property or lot owner property, assess how critical the problem is, and either offer a temporary solution or arrange for a BCSblue registered, fully insured contractor to attend the property.
When required, contractors will attend the site, rectify and / or make safe the issue and report back to BCS with completion details. The contractor will liaise with the appropriate BCS Strata Manager if further works are required.

BCS clients will also benefit from reduced call costs, the ability to identify recurring maintenance issues that can be subsequently proactively addressed, and greater access to maintenance work information.
