BCS adopts a BCS Automated Debtor Management Process

Strata management market leader BCS is pleased to announce the launch of their Automated Debtor Management Process, which commenced on the 1st July 2010.

The process provides BCS clients with automated debt recovery on late levies, by way of successive reminder notices. Each committee now has the flexibility to tailor the number and frequency of levy reminder notices, within the parameters of the relevant legislation.

The bespoke software required to automatically process levy arrears notices has been developed in-house by the BCS IT team. The new process puts an end to the reliance on manual levy arrears processing, which will increase BCS’ effectiveness collecting unpaid levies on behalf of clients. Through the new streamlined debt collection process, BCS are now able to deliver greater surety of service to clients and unparalleled flexibility in the debt recovery process.

“This new system’s full automation ensures fail-proof follow up on late levy payments,” said Sharyn Taylor, BCS General Manager Administration.

“We can now also provide our clients with timely information on the status of all outstanding levy payments, and adapt the process to each scheme’s individual needs.”
