Greg Haywood, CEO and Managing Director of PICA Group which includes Australia’s leading strata and community titles management company BCS Strata Management, was presented with the Strata Community Australia’s (SCA) highest honour at a gala dinner in Adelaide on Tuesday night for his dedication to the strata sector.
SCA National President Matthew Amber said the award recognises individuals for their contributions to the objectives of SCA as volunteers above and beyond their professional capacity.
“Greg has been a consistent supporter and contributor both at state and national level through some difficult times and during rapid change. He is a very deserving winner of the first SCA President’s Award,” Mr Amber said.
Taking to the stage a clearly delighted Greg Haywood said the award was completely unexpected and he thanked his peers, his colleagues and his staff for their support and encouragement.

“The strata sector is undergoing a major amount of change from the strata law review in New South Wales to the increasing development of medium to high density housing across the country. Those of us working in the strata sector have a lot to contribute and supporting each other and the SCA will certainly help us get there,” Greg said.
The award was presented as the culmination of the first SCA national convention with 350 delegates travelling from around Australia to Adelaide for two days of education, presentation and some social events.
